Sales Engineers / Account Managers
Sales responsibilities and objectives are based on account assignment that may be defined geographically, or by named accounts, or by a combination of both. Efforts should be focused on developing mutually beneficial business relationships with the identified accounts in your territory resulting in opportunities for CAD-IT’s solutions.
Sales responsibilities shall include, but not necessarily limited to focus on expanding customers, capturing new business opportunity & expand sales revenue within assigned accounts as well as drive new market opportunities. Other job related duties that may be assigned by management from time to time.
In these roles, you will be responsible for:
- all areas of sales including lead generation, account management and marketing.
- achieving sales targets assigned.
- setting and executing strategic business & action plans or projects.
Requirements:
- Experience or background in engineering, Engineering degree or similar.
- At least 3 years sales experience, preferably selling high-end enterprise-level technical solutions with ability to convince mid to senior level management.
- Experience or knowledge of CAD/ CAM/ PDM / CAE/ CFD / FEA technologies and solutions such as ANSYS/ CFX/ Fluent &/ OR Siemens NX / Teamcenter will be advantageous.
- Track record of sales or strong knowledge in one or more industry sectors below is required:
- Marine / Offshore / Shipbuilding
- Petrochemical / Oil & Gas
- Chemical / Food Processing
- HVAC/ Fire Safety / Ventilation
- Precision Engineering
- Plastics Injection Mold Manufacturing & Molding/ Hot Runner Systems
- Biotechnology / Bioengineering
- Electronics / Semicon
- Aerospace
- Automotive
- Proven track record of consultative sales process and ability to drive sales.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with prospective customers through the use of various prospecting techniques as well as maintaining relationships with current customers.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a major account management plan including strategy, goals, tactics, and milestones.
- Ability & experience calling on “C” level executives and other senior management.

 The Practising Management Consultant Certification Board (PMC-CB), with the support of the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA), is offering a new Professional Conversion Programme for Management Consultants (PCP-MC). The programme is specially tailored to help Professionals, Managers and Executives make a switch to a new career in management consultancy.
Programme Structure
During the 12-month programme, PCP-MC candidates are required to:
- Attend 5 days of training, consisting of 10 training modules;
- Undergo and pass the examinations for the 10 training modules; and
- Complete a 12-month apprenticeship at a management consultancy firm.
After the apprenticeship, trainees who successfully complete the programme will be conferred the Practising Management Consultant (PMC) qualification, a nationally-recognised certification for management consultants.
Trainee Eligibility Criteria
All applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for this programme:
- Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents, who are currently unemployed or wish to switch
career
- Minimum a diploma qualification
- Minimum three years' full-time working experience in a management capacity
- Able to commit 12 months full-time to the programme.
Applicants will be screened to assess their eligibility. Successful enrolment in the programme is subject to the right match between the candidate and the host management consultancy firm.
All candidates must commit to work in the Management Consultancy industry for a period of at least 12 months upon successful completion of the PCP-MC programme.
Funding Support
Course fees: Candidates will receive 100% course fee support. WDA will fund 70% of the course fees, capped at SGD$1,750 per trainee. The remaining 30% will be borne by the host firms.
Training Allowance: WDA will provide the host firms with a funding support of 50% of the basic salary, capped at SGD$1,600 per candidate per month up to a period of 12 months. The other 50% will be borne by the host firms.
